What is Rock The Research?
Rock the Research is an annual fundraising gala and concert for the Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado, a 501(c)(3) organization. For the last four years Rock the Research has raised over $1.5 million dollars for orthopaedic research and education. The event is scheduled each year during the month of July and has featured Darius Rucker and Edwin McCain in concert along with a V.I.P. dinner and auction.
How much are tickets?
Concert tickets: $75 for reserved Pavilion seating and $25 for lawn seating
VIP tickets: $275

How do you raise funds?
As a non-profit, the Steadman Philippon Research Institute raises funds through generous donors and sponsorships. Rock The Research, as well as the annual Golf Classic event, also help SPRI raise money for orthopaedic research and education. Do you need volunteer support?
Yes! Rock The Research requires a total of 20 volunteers at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater and an additional six at the Larkspur dinner. For more information on volunteering, please visit the Volunteer page.
What time do the gates open for the Darius Rucker concert?
Gates open at 5 PM on July 14, 2014. VIP guests, make sure to catch the Cocktail party starting at 5 PM as well!
